Owns the CAD and PLM systems, engineering-data processes, and integrations that connect hardware design to manufacturing, supply chain, and quality.
What you'll do
- Administer and improve the CAD, ECAD, simulation, and CAM toolchain, including configuration, upgrades, licensing, and vendor management.
- Define engineering-data standards and workflows, including part numbering, release and change management, BOM structure, and EBOM-to-MBOM handoffs.
- Set the engineering-systems roadmap; evaluate and roll out tools, automate repetitive work, and train users.
