Leads food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and employee safety programs at a fulfillment center, while coaching teams and driving operational improvements.
What you'll do
- Develop and monitor quality, food safety, sanitation, and employee safety programs, audits, and KPIs.
- Lead QA/QC and sanitation technicians; manage supplier compliance, records, and corrective actions.
- Support equipment validation and QMS implementation, and coach teams to improve quality and safety practices.
What they ask for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, or Process Engineering in manufacturing, food production, or high-volume fulfillment.
- Strong proficiency in Data Analysis and Statistical Process Control; experience with Project Management methodologies.
- FDA PCQI Certified; USDA-AMS & FSIS, GFSI-specifically SQF Preactititioner, FSMA regulations, and HACCP Certified.
Nice to have
- Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus; supplier management and OSHA/safety management experience are also noted.
Pay
$75,000 - $85,000 / year (base salary)
