What you'll do

  • Own analytical design, methodology selection, statistical validation, and iteration for Signals, Forecasting, Simulation, and Cohort Detection.
  • Build causal inference, time-series forecasting, survival, retention, and behavioral similarity models, and verify that production results behave as expected.
  • Document methods and communicate findings to Product and Engineering; collaborate across teams to ensure outputs reflect business outcomes.

What they ask for

  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent industry experience with demonstrated causal inference expertise.

  • Experience with survival analysis or retention modeling, time-series forecasting, and clustering or similarity methods applied to behavioral or user data.
  • Strong Python and SQL fluency; ability to communicate statistical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

  • Experience with large-scale behavioral event data, raw event streams, or productionizing offline batch analyses.
  • Experience evaluating LLM-generated explanations or recommendations against statistical outputs; familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
