About the job
Build and operate the machines layer of Modal’s serverless platform, including the hardware fleet and control plane that provisions, monitors, and repairs hosts.
What you'll do
- Automate machine recovery and integration of CPU, GPU, and storage servers across the fleet.
- Monitor fleet and datacenter network health; automate hardware acceptance testing and benchmarking.
- Build and maintain network boot, machine images, and kernel and firmware management.
