About the job
Improve the reliability and performance of Modal’s cloud platform while scaling its infrastructure, customer base, and engineering team.
What you'll do
- Identify architectural changes to improve reliability and performance, and foster a culture of reliability.
- Define and implement operational processes, including deployments and upgrades; operate infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Postgres, and Redis.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.
