Own and evolve ModernFi’s cloud platform, reliability, release engineering, and security practices so product teams can ship safely and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Improve reliability through observability, SLOs, incident response, and on-call practices.
- Build release pipelines and own cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and developer tooling.
- Drive security and compliance readiness, and partner with product engineering teams to improve platform workflows.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including significant production infrastructure, platform, or reliability work.
- Fluency with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with an observability stack, including establishing monitoring standards; experience defining SLOs, running postmortems, and improving on-call.
- Ability to own systems end-to-end and work effectively with small, fast-moving engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SOC 2, Vanta, secrets management, key rotation, and least-privilege access.
- Experience with AWS, Pulumi, Datadog, Prometheus + Grafana, or the Elastic stack.
Pay
$150,000 - $250,000 USD base salary
