Lead Moment Energy’s Austin battery R&D hub, evaluating and testing EV batteries for reuse in battery energy storage systems (BESS) while building the team, facilities, and safety-testing operations.
What you'll do
- Lead EV battery pack teardowns, cycling, characterization, and cataloging to assess repurposing suitability.
- Establish and manage the Austin R&D hub and off-site “Bunker,” including thermal-runaway, abuse, and BESS-level fire testing.
- Hire and lead engineers and technicians, and serve as the technical liaison with automotive OEMs.
