About the job

Build high-fidelity robotics simulation environments and infrastructure for robot learning, evaluation, synthetic data generation, and sim-to-real transfer.

What you'll do

  • Develop robotics simulation environments, reusable tools, and scalable workflows for training and evaluation.
  • Model and calibrate robot dynamics, sensors, contacts, and environmental interactions to improve sim-to-real transfer.
  • Build and optimize reliable simulation infrastructure, synthetic-data pipelines, and benchmarks for machine-learning workflows.

What they ask for

  • Experience building robotics simulation systems for robotics, autonomy, embodied AI, or physical AI.
  • Experience with robotics simulators such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, PyBullet, Gazebo, Drake, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of robot dynamics, physics simulation, sensor modeling, and sim-to-real transfer.
  • Strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or similar languages, including production-quality, reliable, maintainable, well-tested software.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Omniverse; synthetic data generation; domain randomization or procedural environment generation; ROS2; or simulation performance/GPU optimization.
  • MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Tools

Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, PyBullet, Gazebo, Drake, Python, C++, ROS2

AI focus
