About the job
Engineers and maintains CICS systems in a large-scale 24x7 Sysplex and CICSPlex environment, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, software maintenance, and operational support.
What you'll do
- Perform CICS engineering, system and software maintenance, and related operational functions.
- Analyze dumps and problems; tune CICS performance using monitoring tools and performance data.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support, working with application developers and operations teams.

- Knowledge of COBOL and experience with Mainframe Websphere MQ; strong oral and written communication skills.

- Web application support in a CICS TS V6.x environment; knowledge of zOS facilities, CICS Configuration Manager, zOS & CICS Explorer, or CICS REST Services.
Pay
