Product Owner & Lead Engineer – Data Virtualization Platforms - Vice President

What you'll do

• Own platform strategy, architecture, engineering, security, resilience, automation, and observability; balance production stability with roadmap delivery.
• Lead platform modernization and migration, onboard application teams, and manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering, operations, security, risk, and business stakeholders; mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure or platform engineering experience, including product ownership or technical leadership for enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with data virtualization or data federation platforms, such as Denodo or TIBCO Data Virtualization.
• Strong infrastructure fundamentals, including Linux, networking, high availability, authentication/authorization, and APIs; proficiency in Python and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps practices and tooling, including Git, CI/CD, and Jira; vendor and roadmap management; bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML and analytics platforms, such as Dataiku, and/or test data management platforms, such as Delphix.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or relational databases; platform modernization; observability, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, or public cloud.

Pay

USD $125,000 and $175,000 per year (base pay)
