Designs and validates electrical power and signal distribution systems for autonomous vehicles, including hands-on troubleshooting and testing on prototype vehicles.
What you'll do
- Develop system diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring harness diagrams, and assembly documentation; perform worst-case analysis and simulation.
- Create and oversee component and system qualification and validation testing, support EMC certification, and maintain electrical DFMEA.
- Troubleshoot electrical and system issues in prototype vehicles and test fixtures, and resolve test failures using structured methods.
