About the job
Designs, analyzes, integrates, and tests optomechanical subsystems for infrared remote sensing instruments, supporting their development from concept through production.
What you'll do
- Lead optomechanical design, trade studies, and subsystem/system analyses, including STOP analysis, tolerance stackups, and alignment planning.
- Support design for manufacturing and assembly, instrument assembly and integration, and environmental testing and system verification.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to develop and deliver instruments and improve engineering processes.
