Owns the design, qualification, and sustainment of spacecraft photovoltaic systems, from solar-cell selection through flight-ready array hardware.
What you'll do
- Lead solar-cell selection, qualification, vendor partnerships, and array electrical architecture.
- Develop array performance predictions and own array/coupon qualification and panel assembly processes.
- Optimize array performance across mass, power, cost, reliability, and manufacturability; document standards and mentor junior staff.
