Associate General Counsel, Corporate

What you'll do

• Lead and support strategic transactions, including joint ventures, investments, acquisitions, restructurings, and financings.
• Advise company leaders and cross-functional teams on corporate matters, employment and compensation, and international corporate structure.
• Draft and negotiate legal documents, manage outside counsel, and develop corporate legal processes.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant experience at a leading law firm and/or a high-growth technology company’s legal department.
• Strong corporate law foundation, including corporate governance and complex transactions.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar, with eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in California.
• Ability to independently lead complex matters and provide practical business advice.

Nice to have

• Prior web3 or crypto experience is helpful but not required.
• Interest in blockchain technology and willingness to learn Mysten Labs’ business, technology, and ecosystem.

Pay

$190K – $280K (base salary; currency not specified)
