AVP, Head of Life Insurance Pricing

What you'll do

• Set and execute Life portfolio pricing strategy; oversee assumptions, models, processes, and performance reviews.
• Recommend repricing and portfolio optimization, and advance pricing capabilities using analytics, predictive modeling, new data sources, and emerging technologies.
• Advise senior leaders and governance committees, maintain pricing governance, and lead and develop pricing actuaries and analysts.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
• 12–15+ years of actuarial experience within the life insurance industry, including significant life insurance pricing or product development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Individual Life products, especially Indexed UL, Term and Whole Life; familiarity with U.S. Stat, GAAP, and Tax regulations and standards.

Nice to have

• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
• Proficiency with MG-ALFA.

Pay

$183,750 — $269,500 USD (base salary)
