What you'll do
- Diagnose complex server hardware and firmware issues; serve as the escalation point for high-impact incidents.
- Manage the end-to-end RMA process, including component validation, warranty claims, vendor coordination, and resolution.
- Analyze failure trends, document root causes, and improve diagnostic procedures and hardware reliability.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise server hardware experience in a production data center.
- Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture and firmware and BIOS/BMC diagnostics and upgrades.
- Advanced Linux command-line troubleshooting and experience with remote management interfaces such as IPMI, iDRAC, iLO, or equivalent.
- Experience managing hardware RMA processes and working directly with OEM vendors; strong written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Board-level diagnostics and component-level repair (SMD rework); data center networking and basic network troubleshooting.

Pay
$112,700.00 - $140,800.00 USD total pay (OTE, On Target Earnings)
