What you'll do
- Manage and mentor Integration Specialists; scope and prioritize their work.
- Lead complex integration projects from feasibility through proof-of-concept and assess new integration opportunities.
- Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders; help establish team direction, technical standards, and documentation practices.
What they ask for
- Significant hands-on FPV drone experience, including building multiple drones from scratch across sizes, including 8"+ platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Betaflight configuration and tuning, ELRS, RF propagation, and spectrum management; comfortable with soldering, wiring, and physical prototyping.
- Prior experience managing or leading others; FPV Acro flight experience; FAA Part 107 certification.
- Strong communication skills for external partner and customer engagement, including defense/military contexts; based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA, and willing to travel up to 25%.
Nice to have
- Prior military experience or exposure to defense operations and TTPs; ArduPilot/PX4 experience.
- Experience with contract or commissioned build work for external clients, or building/scaling a technical team from its early stages.
Pay
$112,500 – $157,500 USD (base salary)
