Experience
Minimum 1 year in analog/mixed-signal integrated CMOS circuit design; minimum 3 months applying technical skills outside the classroom.

About the job

Designs analog and mixed-signal chips for neural recording and stimulation systems, from circuit architecture and transistor-level design through layout, verification, and testing.

What you'll do

  • Define and implement analog and mixed-signal circuit architectures and transistor-level solutions to meet noise, mismatch, distortion, power, and cost requirements.
  • Develop verification plans and run simulations and analyses, including power, performance, linearity, and yield.
  • Design, program, and run tests; review teammates’ tests and analyze bugs and other issues.

What they ask for

  • At least 1 year of analog/mixed-signal integrated CMOS circuit design experience in a specific area, with a successful track record of silicon validation.
  • At least 3 months of applying technical skills outside the classroom.

Nice to have

  • Scripting and automation for complex simulation scenarios; lab testing of high-precision analog and mixed-signal ICs.
  • Functional modeling and logic verification with Verilog AMS and SystemVerilog; design and layout with advanced CMOS FinFET technologies; design for high-volume production.
