About the job

Designs and verifies analog and mixed-signal circuits and subsystems for neural recording and stimulation system-on-chip devices, from circuit design through layout and validation.

What you'll do

  • Design transistor-level analog circuit blocks to meet noise, mismatch, distortion, power, cost, and top-level specifications.
  • Coordinate block-level layout and plan and execute analog verification, simulations, and analyses.
  • Design and run tests, review junior team members’ tests, and work with users and vendors on implementation.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor of Science degree plus at least 5 years of related technical experience after receiving the degree.
  • At least 5 years of analog/mixed-signal integrated CMOS circuit design experience in a specific area, with a successful silicon-validation track record.

Nice to have

  • Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field; experience designing for high-volume production or lab testing high-precision analog and mixed-signal ICs.
  • Verilog AMS and SystemVerilog modeling or verification; advanced CMOS FinFET design and layout; scripting and automation for complex simulations.
