About the job
Designs and verifies implant and charger electrical systems, including PCBAs, embedded hardware, and system integration, under strict size, power, reliability, and thermal constraints.
What you'll do
- Contribute across system and board design, from definition and component selection through layout, bring-up, and verification.
- Conduct R&D experiments and support cross-functional integration and system improvements.
- Develop implant-charger hardware-in-the-loop testing and manufacturing-line quality-control systems.
What they ask for
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong electrical engineering and physics fundamentals applied to real-world constraints.
- Ability to independently design, bring up, debug, and verify complex, power- and size-constrained PCBAs, including mixed-signal circuits, sensitive sensor interfaces, and embedded compute.
- Experience debugging cross-domain systems; deep familiarity with lab instrumentation and interpreting imperfect measurements.
Nice to have
- Experience with highly integrated, constrained devices; wireless/RF design; manufacturing at scale; or safety-critical/regulated environments.
- Familiarity with mechanical integration, CAD tools, packaging, stack-ups, or electromagnetic simulation and antenna validation.
