Owns sourcing strategy and commercial performance for a broad supplier portfolio supporting Neuralink’s Implant and Robot, from supplier selection and negotiation through cost, capacity, risk, and performance management.
What you'll do
- Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate and onboard suppliers, and negotiate contracts and pricing across multiple commodity categories.
- Manage supplier quality, delivery, cost, capacity, continuity risks, and recovery when supply issues threaten builds.
- Build cost models and drive cost reductions; partner with engineering on design, make/buy, and manufacturing decisions.

- Demonstrated experience working across at least two distinct commodities or categories, and sourcing or supplier-management experience in a relevant hardware or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience running full RFI/RFQ/RFP cycles and commercial negotiations, with strong should-cost and total-cost-of-ownership analysis skills.
- Working familiarity with supplier quality/industrialization tools and at least one listed Quality Management System framework; technical and contract literacy.
