What you'll do

  • Map neural correlates of sensory and internally generated states.
  • Build and iterate on machine-learning architectures that map neural activity to complex outputs.
  • Design, conduct, interpret, and communicate experiments, including NHP electrophysiology and human fMRI studies.

What they ask for

  • Exceptional ability in neuroscience, machine learning, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the scientific method and engineering first principles.
  • Fluency with Python for data analysis.

Nice to have

  • Experience with modern machine learning, including LLMs, LLM interpretability, and generative models.
  • Experience in neural data analysis or decoding, human fMRI, in-vivo electrophysiology, or closed-loop brain-computer interfaces.
