About the job

Protects Neuralink’s corporate systems and products by operating security defenses, responding to incidents, and finding and fixing vulnerabilities across software and connected systems.

What you'll do

  • Investigate alerts and lead incident response; build detections, response automation, and security tooling.
  • Harden corporate infrastructure and conduct threat modeling, secure reviews, security assessments, and penetration tests for products.
  • Write and coordinate security fixes, and improve security standards, incident runbooks, and secure development practices.

What they ask for

  • Hands-on experience in security engineering, security operations, or product/application security—or evidence of exceptional ability in lieu of traditional experience or qualifications.
  • Strong fundamentals in operating system internals (Linux, macOS, Windows), networking, and authentication/authorization.
  • Experience detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents.
  • Ability to identify and fix problems independently, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and exercise sound judgment under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Product security depth, cloud/Kubernetes/containers/infrastructure-as-code security, or embedded, firmware, or hardware security experience.
  • Experience in regulated environments, detection engineering or security automation, public security research, relevant certifications, or mentoring and owning security processes.
