About the job

Design and deliver high-speed, full-custom analog transceiver blocks that interface with Neurophos’s silicon photonics platform, from architecture through tape-out and testing.

What you'll do

  • Design, simulate, verify, and lay out high-speed analog circuits, including drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, and PLLs.
  • Define block architectures and specifications; validate performance through post-layout extraction, simulation, and signal- and power-integrity work.
  • Collaborate with Photonics and Digital teams and support bench characterization and production testing.

What they ask for

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of full-custom analog IC design experience, including 5+ years dedicated to GHz-speed RF or broadband analog design.
  • Expert proficiency with Cadence tools, specifically Virtuoso schematic, simulation, and custom layout.
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics, linearity, noise analysis, and high-frequency circuit theory; proven high-speed analog block tape-outs through mass production.

Nice to have

  • Background in photonic transceivers or optical communication electronics.
  • Experience with TSMC N5P, N3P, or N2P; high-speed data converters; low-jitter clocking/PLLs; EMX or HFSS; or Spectre RF.
