Leads lab operations and staff, building scalable infrastructure and processes to support NewLimit’s functional genomics research.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor lab operations staff and collaborate with scientists and engineers to operate the lab.
- Manage procurement strategy, infrastructure, inventory, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Improve operational processes and oversee laboratory safety, compliance, and audits.
What they ask for
- 7+ years in a cell biology, molecular biology, genomics, or similar laboratory setting, including people and program management.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with procurement and purchasing systems, inventory and sample management systems, and environmental health and safety.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to identify inefficient processes and lead organizational change.
Nice to have
