What you'll do

• Develop query-understanding, intent-classification, and semantic-search models; design intent taxonomies and interest graphs.
• Ship LLM-powered search and recommendation features using embeddings, retrieval, and NLU.
• Define metrics and run experiments linking intent quality to downstream conversion.

• 5+ years as an Applied Scientist or ML Engineer working on query understanding, intent, semantic search, or NLU.
• Production experience shipping models to real users.
