Build and operate NewsBreak’s batch and streaming data infrastructure for feeds, recommendations, analytics, and machine-learning systems.
What you'll do
- Design and operate Kafka streaming pipelines and Spark batch jobs at scale; own their reliability, backfills, and processing costs.
- Improve observability, data quality, freshness, and completeness; define and own data SLOs.
- Develop data models and shared pipeline infrastructure, optimize system efficiency, and partner with data scientists and platform teams.
