What you'll do
- Diagnose and triage electrical failures on deployed robots, analyze fleet data, and lead root-cause investigations to closure.
- Integrate and validate next-generation hardware, including board bring-up, electrical test plans, and automated diagnostic tools.
- Translate findings into corrective actions and communicate failure impact and fix status across engineering and operations.
What they ask for
- Hands-on experience diagnosing board-level failures in power distribution, motor control, and digital logic or controller boards, in lab and field settings.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, including DC-DC conversion, battery systems, protection circuits, MOSFET switching, gate drivers, and BLDC/PMSM motor drives.
- Able to use lab tools and work from schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets, and wiring harness drawings; capable of component-level rework and probing.
- Proficiency in Python (or similar) for test automation and log and telemetry analysis.
