About the job

Designs and deploys intelligent agents that turn mission objectives into adaptive, explainable plans for heterogeneous unmanned systems, integrating with autonomy software and edge hardware.

What you'll do

  • Build LLM orchestration, agent reasoning, and mission-planning systems, including human-in-the-loop explainability.
  • Optimize, deploy, and manage AI models and agents on edge hardware; integrate outputs with ROS 2 autonomy middleware.
  • Evaluate and monitor agent performance, validate behavior in simulation, and develop safe deployment and rollback practices.

What they ask for

  • 3+ years of production AI/ML experience, emphasizing LLM deployment and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Transformers, or LangChain, or equivalent orchestration tools.
  • Experience with model optimization, quantization, and edge deployment; understanding of distributed systems and real-time AI inference.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, prompt engineering, agent design, and planning or symbolic reasoning; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-agent coordination, robotics/autonomous systems integration, or reinforcement learning.
  • Experience deploying AI to embedded hardware and testing in simulation-in-loop or hardware-in-loop environments.

Tools

Python, PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain, Jetson, ROS 2

AI focus

Develops LLM-powered agents for mission planning, task decomposition, multi-domain unmanned-system orchestration, edge inference, and explainable human-supervised autonomy.
