About the job
Lead development of a hardware simulator and compiler-integrated debugging and profiling tools for validating evolving in-memory AI hardware before and after silicon.
What you'll do
- Own simulator architecture and roadmap, balancing accuracy, performance, and hardware-feature coverage.
- Build debugging, tracing, profiling, and workload-benchmark tools; ensure simulator behavior and memory semantics are trustworthy.
- Correlate simulator results with RTL, FPGA prototypes, and silicon, and guide investment tradeoffs with compiler and hardware teams.
What they ask for
- Experience building or leading hardware simulators for ASICs or novel compute architectures.
- Experience building debuggers, tracers, or profilers adopted by engineers.
- Systems and compiler context sufficient to simulate the software stack and hardware.
- Fluency in C++ or Rust and familiarity with Python.
Nice to have
- Experience with in-memory compute or other non-von-Neumann architectures.
- Experience spanning pre-silicon simulation and post-silicon bring-up.
Tools
C++, Rust, Python, RTL, FPGA
AI focus
