Lead claims-based studies and actuarial modeling to measure and communicate the impact of Nourish care on healthcare costs, utilization, and payer ROI.
What you'll do
- Design and execute claims-based analyses of medical and pharmacy spending, utilization, and total cost of care, using causal methods to estimate impact.
- Build actuarial models of cost savings, PMPM impact, and ROI for prospective health plan partners; identify populations and cost drivers with savings potential.
- Communicate findings and methods to payer partners, and build reusable datasets, methodologies, and analytical workflows with Analytics Engineering.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of healthcare actuarial or medical economics experience.
- Experience with healthcare claims data, including medical and pharmacy claims, eligibility data, and coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, NDC).
- Experience designing or conducting claims-based evaluations of care programs, vendors, or clinical interventions.
- Strong statistical and causal inference skills, plus clean, performant SQL and proficiency in Python or R.
Nice to have
- Progress toward or completion of ASA or FSA.
- Experience evaluating programs from the payer’s perspective.
