About the job
Conduct CAR-T engineering and T-cell biology research to design, test, and optimize cell therapy constructs and inform candidate selection and translational development.
What you'll do
- Design and execute research, including generating and evaluating lentiviral constructs and optimizing CAR-T cells.
- Develop experimental models and analytical methods; analyze integrated in vitro and in vivo findings to guide candidate prioritization.
- Present results and recommendations, maintain rigorous experimental records, and contribute to technical and regulatory documents.
What they ask for
- PhD in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in CAR-T engineering or engineered T-cell approaches, including designing and generating lentiviral CAR constructs.
- Expertise in ex vivo cell characterization using multicolor flow cytometry and cytokine profiling methods such as ELISA, MSD, or Luminex.
- Experience isolating immune cells and culturing primary human T cells.
Nice to have
- Experience partnering with computational biology, target discovery, and in vivo pharmacology teams; or with engineered T-cell manufacturing and culture.
- Understanding of synthetic biology applied to cell engineering, or experience developing functional profiling approaches and experimental models.
