Develops and validates metrics and automated workflows to assess the safety of autonomous vehicle driving behavior in Nuro’s target ODD.
What you'll do
- Develop Python metrics, combining ML models and safety metrics, to evaluate end-to-end driving behavior.
- Test metrics using simulation, on-road logs, closed-course data, and accident reconstructions; produce validation reports.
- Collaborate across teams to define acceptance criteria and establish automated verification workflows.
