About the job

Leads a team designing, implementing, characterizing, and signing off custom SRAM and register-file memory IP for a high-performance CPU, with a focus on meeting PPA targets.

What you'll do

  • Lead development and optimization of custom SRAMs and register files, including schematic design, characterization, layout, and physical design verification.
  • Manage end-to-end memory IP signoff across verification, extraction, and timing, power, and noise characterization.
  • Partner with foundry, CAD, physical design, RTL, and DFT teams on process benchmarking, testchip validation, memory specifications, and design flows.

What they ask for

  • BS, MS, or PhD degree and 12+ years of experience in custom memory circuit design.
  • Hands-on transistor-level design experience with logic and memory arrays in advanced CMOS nodes.
  • Deep knowledge of SPICE simulations, memory circuit margins, and industry-standard EDA tools for custom memory workflows.
  • Track record delivering production-level custom memory IP through tape-out with silicon-validated PPA; expertise in memory signoff, STA, and Liberty/CCS model development.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing engineers and providing technical leadership; broad embedded-memory design-flow experience.
  • Python, Perl, or TCL automation experience, or experience using Agentic AI tools for productivity and automation.
