Verifies Nuvacore’s CPU by developing test plans, verification environments, tests, and coverage to identify design bugs before silicon and support bring-up.
What you'll do
- Define CPU verification strategy and build test environments, checkers, and coverage.
- Write and debug directed and random CPU tests; investigate performance and functional issues with architecture and RTL teams.
- Analyze coverage, root-cause failures, drive design fixes, and support emulation, FPGA, and silicon bring-up.
What they ask for

- Design-verification experience: 15+ years for Principal or 4+ years for Senior Engineer.
- Knowledge of CPU micro-architecture and digital logic, including pipelines, out-of-order execution, and branch prediction.
- Hands-on functional verification; proficiency in C/C++ and/or SystemVerilog plus a scripting language; experience writing and debugging CPU assembly tests.
Nice to have
- Experience in CPU front-end, execution-unit, cache, SoC/system, debug, or power-management verification.
- Experience with random instruction sequence stimulus, constrained-random verification, coverage-driven closure, assertions/formal verification, or emulation/FPGA/silicon bring-up.
