About the job

Mature the Agent Policy Fabric proof-of-life into a core platform for verifying and projecting signed policies and governing agent actions across runtime environments.

What you'll do

  • Build APF core services, including runtime policy verification, signed-policy checks, trust-root handling, and authorization APIs.
  • Implement deterministic policy projections and build conformance, compatibility, security, and verification tests.
  • Coordinate public runtime interfaces with runtime owners and define platform architecture, specifications, and failure behavior.

What they ask for

  • Strong programming skills in Rust, Go, C++, or Python, with experience designing production services, APIs, schemas, policy engines, authorization systems, or signed artifact pipelines.
  • Infrastructure familiarity with Linux systems, IPC or service-to-service APIs, protobuf/gRPC or equivalent wire formats, CI, test automation, release engineering, and cloud or enterprise deployment environments.
  • Practical security engineering experience with authorization, cryptographic signatures, trust roots, revocation, subject binding, rollback protection, secure-by-default failure handling, and zero-trust patterns.
  • Ability to write technical specifications, align engineering owners, defend bounded claims, and turn architecture into buildable interfaces.

Nice to have

  • Experience with runtime policy systems such as OPA/Rego, Cedar, Zanzibar-style authorization, policy compilers, sandbox policy, or runtime enforcement.
  • Experience in agent runtime security, supply-chain signing, formal or adversarial verification, or standards engagement.

Pay

272,000 USD - 431,250 USD (base salary)
