About the job
Architects system-level power and performance features and roadmaps across silicon generations, from concept through validation and product release, including datacenter-scale power management.
What you'll do
- Define multi-generation roadmaps and architecture for system power and performance features, including HSIO power management, DVFS, P-states, and low-power features.
- Lead system boot and IST architecture, and redesign boot/reset, low-power sequencing, and cross-IP control policies.
- Drive datacenter-scale power strategy and serve as a technical authority across architecture, ASIC, platform, and firmware teams.
What they ask for
- BS or MS in EE/CE, or equivalent experience proven through the work itself.
- 15+ years of system architecture, development, and validation experience focused on power and performance-per-watt optimization in datacenter or high-performance platforms.
- Verifiable history of guiding architecture decisions shipped across multiple silicon programs.
- Extensive knowledge of HSIO power management, DVFS, P-states, system boot flows, low-power entry/exit architecture, and strong fundamentals in low-power design and rack-level performance architecture.
Nice to have
- Hands-on depth in at least two of system power management, robust boot flow optimizations, HSIO, and memory power management.
- Demonstrated AI/agentic workflow practice; technical leadership evidenced by patents, publications, presentations, standards participation, or industry recognition.
