About the job

Drives ASIC physical design for CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs, focusing on netlist quality, equivalence and asynchronous checks, synthesis, timing convergence, and ECO implementation.

What you'll do

  • Lead block-, cluster-, or full-chip physical design, including equivalence checking, CDC checks, MTBF analysis, logic synthesis, and netlist quality checks.
  • Support physical design by driving timing convergence, generating and managing timing constraints, and generating and implementing ECOs.

What they ask for

  • BS or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years’ experience, or MS or equivalent experience with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Expertise in logic equivalence checking/FV from RTL to tapeout; understanding of hardware architecture and hands-on RTL/logic design for timing closure.
  • Experience with clock-domain-crossing checks and MTBF analysis; logic synthesis at block or full-chip level.
  • Strong experience in full-chip/sub-chip STA, timing constraints and timing convergence; expertise with industry-standard EDA tools and proficiency in programming/scripting languages.

Nice to have

  • Background in DFT timing closure for modes such as scan shift and capture, transition faults, and BIST.
  • Experience or strong drive to improve workflows and productivity through effective AI utilization.

Pay

136,000 USD - 218,500 USD base salary (Level 3); 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD base salary (Level 4)
