What you'll do
- Design GPU execution-state save/restore mechanisms and maintain the GPU-wide register address map and access architecture.
- Define requirements, interfaces, compatibility expectations, and interconnects; develop C++ functional-model support with hardware and software teams.
- Create validation strategies, debug cross-stack issues through pre-silicon and initial silicon testing, and improve register-interface tools and automation.
What they ask for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in computer architecture, GPU architecture, CPU architecture, system-on-chip design, or a related area.
- Experience designing, modeling, or validating sophisticated hardware features from definition through confirmation; proficiency in C++ and Python or a comparable scripting language.
- Strong understanding of hardware, firmware, and system-software interactions; experience developing architectural standards, specifications, and collaborating across teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with hardware register architecture, address maps, memory-mapped I/O, or device-control interfaces.
