About the job

Develop and productize perception solutions for autonomous driving, focused on detecting and understanding traffic signals across diverse road environments.

What you'll do

  • Design end-to-end perception and autonomous-driving solutions for traffic-signal detection across varied driving environments.
  • Research and develop deep-learning models for traffic lights, signs, road markings, construction objects, text recognition, and related tasks.
  • Improve solutions through data-driven development, simulation, and augmentation, then productize them to meet safety, latency, and software-robustness requirements.

What they ask for

  • PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience developing deep learning and algorithms for real-world problems, and proficiency with deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Experience in data-driven development and collaboration with data and ground truth teams.
  • Strong programming skills in python and/or C++.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of technical leadership; expertise in generalizable camera-based perception for autonomous driving or robotics, or deploying DNN solutions to embedded platforms for real-time applications.
  • Technical publications in leading conferences/journals; expertise with Visual Language Models, Transformers, BEV architectures, or modern traffic-signal perception techniques.
