- Experience
- 12+ overall years in silicon characterization, post-silicon validation, timing, or performance analysis, including 5+ years leading technical teams.
- Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
About the job
Leads the team responsible for silicon speed characterization and simulation-to-silicon correlation, using results to resolve speed issues and guide product limits and production decisions.
What you'll do
- Own speed characterization and correlation from pre-silicon planning through production sign-off across GPU, CPU, and SoC programs.
- Drive root-cause closure for speed failures and define evidence-based margining, guardbanding, aging, and binning decisions.
- Build data, automation, and AI-assisted workflows; develop the team and provide decision-ready guidance to leadership.
What they ask for
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant overall experience, including 5+ years leading technical teams.
- Proven management experience developing senior engineers and first-line managers.
- Deep technical foundation and hands-on expertise in silicon characterization, simulation-to-silicon correlation, timing analysis, voltage-frequency margining, guardbanding, PVT, and binning.
Nice to have
- Evidence of tracing a frequency miss to a technical cause and driving a confirmed product fix.
- Experience building reusable methodologies across programs or process nodes; applied AI in characterization or debug workflows.
Pay
232,000 USD - 368,000 USD base salary
Tools
