About the job

Develop and lead GPU-accelerated numerical dense linear algebra software and kernel-generation work for AI and HPC applications.

What you'll do

  • Scope, design, implement, and optimize numerical dense linear algebra software on GPUs.
  • Lead projects involving multiple engineers, provide technical guidance, and sometimes mentor interns.
  • Work with customers and product teams on feature and performance needs, library roadmaps, and opportunities to improve performance and maintainability.

What they ask for

  • PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or a related science or engineering field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and performance-optimizing HPC software using C++.
  • Strong fundamentals in kernel generation and composable library design for linear algebra.
  • Leadership skills in driving software development projects.

Nice to have

  • Parallel programming experience, ideally with CUDA, MPI, OpenMP, OpenACC, or pthreads; kernel generation and JIT experience desired.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, GPU or CPU architecture, assembly, operator fusion, agile practices, JIRA, or Python.

Pay

184,000 USD - 287,500 USD (base salary); 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (base salary)

Tools

C++, CUDA, MPI, OpenMP, OpenACC, pthreads, JIRA, Python

AI focus

Develop kernel-generation capabilities, including matrix operations, JITing, and fusions, for AI and HPC workloads.
