About the job
Develop and validate signal- and power-integrity solutions for high-speed systems, packages, and PCBs through simulation, modeling, measurement, and design optimization.
What you'll do
- Run system-level SI simulations for high-speed interfaces and model components using 3D electromagnetic tools.
- Design and optimize power delivery networks across packages and PCBs; improve SI/PI models using lab measurements.
- Automate simulations and analyze and visualize data using JMP, MATLAB, or similar tools.
What they ask for
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- SI/PI work on one or more listed signaling standards, such as PCI Express, USB, SATA, HDMI, HBM, DDR5, GDDR6, or LPDDR5X.
- Hands-on use of 3-D modeling tools such as ANSYS HFSS/Q3D and 2.5-D tools such as ANSYS SIWAVE or similar.
- Experience with PDN evaluation using layout extraction tools and spice-based time-domain simulations; background in system-level timing or loss budgets.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with VNA, TDR, DSO, ParBERT, JMP, or Matlab.
- Experience with lab measurements, debugging, SI lab correlation, or knowledge of circuit/component design, link architecture, and timing budget methodologies.
