About the job

Develop and deploy robotic spatial perception and reasoning systems, including geometric computer vision and vision-language models, for robots, simulations, and foundation-model training pipelines.

What you'll do

  • Design algorithms for spatial understanding, including SLAM, structure-from-motion, optical flow, scene flow, and object reconstruction.
  • Develop and evaluate perception, mapping, and reasoning systems and train vision-language models for robotics.
  • Integrate, validate, and release capabilities on physical robots and in simulations, collaborating across research and engineering teams.

What they ask for

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience working on computer vision, robotics, or deep learning technologies.
  • Strong foundation in 3D geometric computer vision, such as multi-view geometry, visual odometry/SLAM, structure-from-motion, or dense correspondence.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++; experience with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).

Nice to have

  • Contributions to widely used SLAM, SfM, or 3D reconstruction systems; large-scale model training on GPU clusters; publications at listed computer vision or robotics venues; or simulation-based training and transfer experience.
  • Familiarity with vision-language models.

Pay

184,000 USD - 287,500 USD (base salary, Level 4); 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (base salary, Level 5)

Tools

Python, C++, PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex

AI focus
