Staff Software Developer, Unified Communications

What you'll do

• Design, operate, and evolve UC systems, including Cisco Webex RoomOS and Microsoft Teams Rooms, and support meeting reliability and incident response.
• Build integrations and automation for UC systems using APIs, scripting, and generative AI tools.
• Improve UC observability with Call Quality Dashboard, user-experience metrics, and dashboards; develop monitoring, admin tooling, and user-facing products.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in full stack Development, Unified Communications, collaboration engineering, or a closely related Software development role.
• Hands-on UC development experience with Cisco Webex RoomOS and room systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and enterprise meeting platforms.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting, API integrations, Microsoft Graph, and PowerShell.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with webcast and streaming infrastructure, including multicast distribution for large-audience live events.
• AI model knowledge covering speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speech-to-speech architectures and modules.

Pay

144,000 USD - 230,000 USD base salary
