Leads technical direction and builds backend microservices, C++ edge applications, reactive frontends, and data systems for Observable Space’s software platform.
What you'll do
- Own technical roadmaps and architectural decisions for scalable distributed systems; establish engineering standards and address technical risks.
- Lead cross-team design and alignment, mentor engineers, and communicate technical tradeoffs to business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain services, applications, frontends, databases, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses; resolve production issues and improve reliability.
