About the job
Own and develop a critical electrical subsystem for autonomous underwater vehicles, from initial requirements and design through testing, production, and ongoing improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead subsystem architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, bring-up, validation, and production support.
- Debug hardware and hardware/software integration issues, and work with engineering teams and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable systems.
- Develop and execute board- and system-level tests, support field testing and sea trials, and drive failure analysis and corrective improvements.

- Deep practical expertise in high-speed digital electronics, motor-control or drive electronics, or battery, power electronics, or power-distribution hardware.
- Strong schematic design, PCB layout, and complex-board bring-up experience in the relevant specialization.
- Experience integrating hardware with embedded Linux, bare-metal or RTOS firmware, and debugging integrated systems using lab equipment.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and support field testing and sea trials when required.
Nice to have
