Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or final semester) in Computer Science, ML/AI, Engineering, or a related technical field (or willing to leave existing program).

About the job

Build AI systems that automate spacecraft requirements analysis, design, simulation, and validation, integrating models into Oligo’s spacecraft design platform.

What you'll do

  • Develop multi-agent AI systems and train or fine-tune language and vision-language models for spacecraft design tasks.
  • Build data, training, and knowledge-representation infrastructure to extract constraints, identify requirement issues, and generate engineering artifacts.
  • Integrate models into design and simulation pipelines and collaborate with spacecraft teams to validate outputs against engineering practices.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or final semester) in Computer Science, ML/AI, Engineering, or a related technical field (or willing to leave existing program).
  • ML/AI experience through research, personal projects, or internships; not just coursework.
  • 2+ years of experience building advanced ML systems, such as deep learning, RL, planning, or LLM agent frameworks.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow; experience in at least one listed area, such as VLMs, RL, simulation-aware ML, or document parsing/RAG/knowledge graphs.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on hardware prototyping and debugging; familiarity with spacecraft concepts, astrodynamics, or control systems.
  • Experience with engineering artifacts or MBSE tools such as Capella or CORE.

Pay

$110,000 - $164,000 / per year (base salary)

Tools

Python, PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, LangChain, Ray, FastAPI, DVC

AI focus
