About the job
Own and establish Omen’s analytical chemistry lab, producing reliable ground-truth measurements and developing workflows for testing industrial oils and liquid-cooling fluids.
What you'll do
- Establish lab standards and rigorous QA/QC practices, including blanks, calibration curves, spike recoveries, and instrument-drift monitoring.
- Develop sample-preparation and testing methods, then collaborate with R&D to define workflows and test plans for an automated pipeline.
- Manage lab procurement, inventory, safety protocols, and hazardous-waste streams while ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations.
Nice to have
- Professional background in chemistry or analytical chemistry; biology experience is a plus.
- Candidates with a primarily biology-oriented background may be considered if they have some organic and/or physical chemistry experience.
