About the job
Plans and builds embedded software for Omen’s field-deployable sensors, including firmware, data acquisition, connectivity, reliability, and coordination with hardware and software teams.
What you'll do
- Design the embedded platform and interfaces between firmware, on-device processing, and the cloud.
- Develop peripheral drivers and production C/C++ for real-time control and data acquisition; bring up and debug hardware.
- Lead reliability and testing work, investigate field failures, and help maintain the OTA update pipeline.

- Strong proficiency with C and C++ for resource-constrained, real-time systems and Python for Linux services, tooling, test automation, and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with an RTOS and embedded Linux.
- Experience writing peripheral drivers from datasheets and debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD.
Nice to have
- Experience providing technical direction or leading embedded architecture.
